Polynomial: बहुपद, चर, अचर

A polynomial is a mathematical expression consisting of variables and coefficients, combined using only addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents. The degree of a polynomial is the highest exponent of its variable(s) after it has been simplified.

Polynomials can be classified based on their degree:

Constant polynomial (degree 0): A polynomial with no variable terms.
Linear polynomial (degree 1): A polynomial with the highest degree of 1.
Quadratic polynomial (degree 2): A polynomial with the highest degree of 2.
Cubic polynomial (degree 3): A polynomial with the highest degree of 3.
Quartic polynomial (degree 4): A polynomial with the highest degree of 4.
Quintic polynomial (degree 5): A polynomial with the highest degree of 5.
... and so on.
Polynomials can also be further categorized into types such as monomials, binomials, trinomials, etc., based on the number of terms they have.
